I was involve in an accident in november and there dragging there feet. Ive been angry on the phone and nothing works. Im waiting for there decison to total the car or repair it so ican pay the deductable and get my car. Its been 4 months already. If a have to i will report them to any agency that can help me but i dont know where to start. Someone please help.
I accidentally backed up into another car I own. My fiance is paying the car payments and insurance for the car I backed up into but the car is in my name. We talked to the insurance agency (state farm) and our insurance agent told him that since they can’t raise my insurance because I own both vehicles then they are going to take away his "good driving rate" so his insurance will go up. How in the world do these insurance places work? that’s not fair because he was in the passenger seat when it happened. If anyone is knowledgeable of car insurance please help me understand if I am getting screwed or not and why they are picking on him and not me… we are getting the door replaced after our 500 deductible is met.

I have rented cars from the airport before, their rates are high and they dont offer you to purchase insurance,

In Deschutes county (Bend Oregon area) on June 12th, 2006 a major hail storm runined many cars. A friend of mine is getting his automotive insurance deductible paid by the national disaster act. The insurance he’s going through is Safeco, but for some reason my insurance agency ( Nationwide) knows nothing about this program paying for deductibles. So is there any web sites I can go to for information on how to get Nationwide to do the same thing Safeco car insurance is doing? I need help, I’m in the process of getting my car fixed and this deduction getting paid by a program would really help me out.
On NYE day a plow truck hit me on my way to work. The car was a total loss. I went to the ER. Today, they finally declared it a total loss and I was able to pick up a rental. I only have the rental for three days…starting tonight!!! How am I supposed to look for a new car in that amount of time? What kind of policy is this? My stress level is through the roof!!! I tried to plead with the adjustor for extra time and he stated policy is policy. When Progressive replaced a door on the same car years ago I had a rental for almost 2 weeks! Does anyone know about this practice?
I don’t really undrstand how it will work out. The lawyer told me that I will leave out his office a happy lady. But I lost my car in this acident , and the insurance company only gave me the NADA value which was in poor condititon because it was totaled. So far my medical expenses range from 2720 to 2800 dollars. Can some one just please give me a little more insite. Also I’m going for my pain and suffering also. Thanks for the advice.
last 2 month i got into a cars accident and it was my fault so my insurance not fix at all , today i went to police department and my insurance agency to report that somebody is hit and run to my car, if they believe me then they will fix it for me because my insurance have hit and run recovered, the question is what happen if they know im a liar? because that the only way to get my car fixed for free.
I was charged with a dwi to boot. The insurance company has got the total up to around 19,000.00. so im asuming this will definatly grow.
details, the person i hit left the scene of the crime. As he was probably drinking too. and secondly i have pictures proving his car is fine even though his insurance agency has called it totalled……….so basically am i screwed? or is it worth dishing out another 5k to fight. being that ive dished out about 5k so far for my d.w.i.
